Assignment Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join a large retail and digital platform organization, working within an established team responsible for the development and governance of a strategic enterprise design system.
What You Will Work On
Develop, maintain, and evolve enterprise design system components
Create and manage design tokens, typography systems, spacing frameworks, and reusable design patterns
Support the consolidation of multiple design systems into a unified platform
Define design architecture, naming conventions, token structures, and governance principles
Ensure the design system supports complex internal business applications and platforms
Collaborate closely with developers to bridge design and implementation
Improve design-development workflows through modern tooling and best practices
Utilize AI-powered tools as part of daily design and product development activities
Establish and maintain versioning strategies for design assets and components
Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and governance frameworks
Support product teams adopting and contributing to the design system
Drive continuous improvements in scalability, usability, and consistency across digital products

What You Bring
Several years of experience building and maintaining design systems used across multiple teams or organizations
Advanced expertise in Figma component architecture and design system management
Strong experience with Variables, Modes, Properties, Slots, and Auto Layout
Deep understanding of design tokens, theming strategies, semantic layers, and design architecture
Strong technical understanding and ability to collaborate effectively with developers
Experience discussing implementation details and technical implications of design decisions
Proven experience using AI-powered tools within design and product development workflows
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to balance strategic design decisions with practical implementation needs
Fluent Swedish and professional communication skills
Availability for hybrid work with regular presence in the Stockholm area
