About the Role: A technology-focused organisation in Sundsvall is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join their growing engineering team. This role offers the chance to work on modernising core systems, introducing event-driven architecture, and driving technical initiatives alongside an experienced Tech Lead, Principal Architect, and skilled development team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable backend services and APIs.
Shape system architecture with a strong focus on performance, maintainability, and security.
Develop event-driven components using technologies such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
Drive improvements across CI/CD pipelines for smooth and reliable deployments.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, data, product) to deliver impactful solutions.
Mentor junior developers and foster a high-quality engineering culture.

Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in C# / .NET (Core or later).
Solid understanding of event-driven architectures (CQRS, event sourcing, messaging systems).
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Fluent in Swedish and English.
Frontend development experience with React, TypeScript, or Node.js.
Exposure to financial services or AI/ML frameworks.
Advanced experience in Azure PaaS services and cloud-native design
